Car Wash Service Lino Lakes Drivers Rely On

Xtreme Wash Systems provides car wash service to Lino Lakes, MN, backed by more than 50 years of car washing experience and 20 years of hands-on equipment installation and repair. If you've been searching for a car wash in Lino Lakes and want a facility run by people who actually understand what good equipment does to a vehicle, that's exactly what we deliver. Call (612) 323-9160 to ask about our services or get directions.

Lino Lakes water presents a real challenge for any wash operation. The city's water supply averages just under 14 grains per gallon of hardness, drawn from six deep wells tapping the Prairie du Chien-Jordan and Jordan-St. Lawrence aquifers. That's mineral-heavy water, and it's the kind that leaves spots on paint and accelerates scale buildup inside wash equipment if the system isn't spec'd correctly for it. We know that going in. Lino Lakes also adds chlorine, fluoride, and polyphosphate to its treated supply to control iron content. A wash that ignores local water chemistry isn't doing your vehicle any favors. We hold a 4.3-star rating across our Google reviews, and the reason customers keep coming back isn't a loyalty card. It's a consistent, clean result.

What We Offer Lino Lakes Customers

One location. Multiple services. All run by the same people who install and repair car wash equipment across five states.

Car Wash
A thorough exterior wash that accounts for the mineral content in Lino Lakes water. We're not running a cut-rate rinse cycle. The equipment is maintained by people who built it, which means consistent results every visit.
Truck Wash
Commercial vehicles need capacity and the right equipment. Our truck wash handles larger vehicles that a standard bay can't accommodate. Fleet managers and owner-operators around Lino Lakes have specific needs. We meet them.
Pet Wash
Bring the dog. Our pet wash is set up for exactly that. It's a practical add-on when you're already coming in for a vehicle wash, and it saves you the mess at home.
Car Wash Equipment Sales and Installation
If you're a Lino Lakes-area operator or entrepreneur looking to open a wash facility, we handle the full sales and installation process. A commercial car wash in Lino Lakes requires rezoning, a preliminary plat, a conditional use permit, and a full site and building plan review. Our sales and installation team has worked through the installation process in Minnesota and can help you understand what to expect.
Car Wash Equipment Repair
Equipment downtime costs real money. Our repair service covers a five-state region including Minnesota. We don't subcontract the work. The technician who picks up the phone is the technician who shows up.

Local Conditions

Hard Water and Lino Lakes Vehicles

At nearly 14 grains per gallon, Lino Lakes sits firmly in hard water territory. That's not a complaint about the city's water supply. It's a fact that shapes how a wash needs to work. Hard water leaves calcium deposits on paint surfaces and glass if the rinse chemistry isn't dialed in. Over time, it also scales up nozzles and heat exchangers inside wash equipment, which is why the equipment side matters as much as the soap side. We've been in this industry for over 50 years. We've seen what happens to vehicles and to wash systems when hard water isn't accounted for. The polyphosphate treatment Lino Lakes adds to its supply helps with iron control, but it doesn't neutralize the hardness. That's on the wash operator to manage. We do. Most of the residential development in Lino Lakes happened in the latter half of the 20th century, which means most vehicles in the area have seen a few Minnesota winters. Road salt, sand, and freeze-thaw cycles put real stress on undercarriages and paint. A proper wash cycle after winter conditions isn't cosmetic. It's maintenance.

Equipment Knowledge Behind Every Wash

We operate and install wash equipment. That's not a common combination.

Operated

50+ years of running car wash facilities means we know exactly what equipment needs to do under real conditions, not just on a spec sheet.

Installed

20 years of equipment installation across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa. We know what fails, why, and how to prevent it.

Maintained

We don't hand off repairs to a subcontractor. Our own technicians handle service calls. If something breaks, we fix it. That applies to our own facility too.

For Operators

Opening a Car Wash Near Lino Lakes?

A commercial car wash in Lino Lakes isn't a simple permit pull. The city requires rezoning, a preliminary plat, a conditional use permit, and a full site and building plan review before a project breaks ground. The City of Lino Lakes Building Department handles permits for construction work, and the Finance Department manages utility billing for water, sewer, and stormwater once you're operational. Lino Lakes also has specific soil conditions worth understanding at the planning stage. The Lino series soils common in this area are sandy glacial outwash with rapid permeability. That affects drainage design and site engineering for a wash facility. You want to know that before you finalize a site plan, not after. We've been through the installation process enough times to tell you what questions to ask early. Our sales and installation team handles equipment installation and setup across the region. If you're evaluating equipment systems, we also work with Coleman Hanna Carwash Systems and Motor City Wash Works, so you're not locked into one manufacturer's pitch. Frequently asked questions

Does Xtreme Wash Systems serve Lino Lakes, MN?

Yes. Xtreme Wash Systems serves Lino Lakes drivers for consumer car wash, truck wash, and pet wash services. For car wash equipment installation and repair, we cover a five-state region that includes all of Minnesota. Call (612) 323-9160 to ask about our current services or to get directions from Lino Lakes.

Does the hard water in Lino Lakes cause problems at the car wash?

Lino Lakes water averages just under 14 grains per gallon of hardness, which is significant. Hard water can leave mineral deposits on paint and glass if the rinse chemistry isn't right, and it accelerates scale buildup inside wash equipment over time. The city also adds polyphosphate for iron control, which affects water chemistry. We account for local water conditions in how we run our wash operation, so you're not driving away with water spots.

What types of vehicles can you wash at your facility?

We handle passenger cars, SUVs, and through our truck wash service, larger commercial vehicles that don't fit a standard bay. If you drive a fleet vehicle or a commercial truck and you're coming from the Lino Lakes area, call ahead at (612) 323-9160 to confirm sizing and availability. We also offer a pet wash for customers who want to bring their dog along.

What permits does a car wash require in Lino Lakes?

A commercial car wash project in Lino Lakes requires rezoning, a preliminary plat, a conditional use permit, and a full site and building plan review through the City of Lino Lakes Building Department. The city's Finance Department handles water, sewer, and stormwater utility billing once you're operating. If you're planning a new wash facility near Lino Lakes, our sales and installation team has worked through this process in Minnesota before and can help you understand what to expect.

Do car washes use reclaimed water, and does that matter in Lino Lakes?

Many modern car wash facilities use water reclaim systems to reduce fresh water consumption per vehicle. Given that Lino Lakes sources its supply from six wells drawing on deep aquifer systems, responsible water use is worth thinking about. A well-designed wash facility balances clean rinse quality with water efficiency. If you're building a new wash near Lino Lakes, we can advise on equipment systems that incorporate reclaim technology.

What is the least damaging car wash method for a vehicle's finish?

Touchless or soft-cloth automatic systems cause less abrasion than older brush systems when maintained properly. The key word is maintained: worn or contaminated wash media can scratch regardless of the system type. We maintain our own equipment to manufacturer standards, which is something we can say with confidence because we're also the people who install and repair wash equipment professionally. A well-kept soft-cloth system on a properly conditioned vehicle is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Is it okay to wash my car in winter coming from Lino Lakes?

Yes, and honestly you should wash more often in winter, not less. Road salt applied on Lino Lakes roads and surrounding highways accelerates rust on undercarriages, brake components, and frame rails. The risk of not washing outweighs the brief cold after a winter wash. Washing when temperatures are above freezing and allowing some dry time before parking in an unheated space is reasonable practice. The real mistake is letting salt sit on a vehicle through the season.
