Car Wash in Hamel, MN

Most equipment vendors have never operated a car wash. Most car wash operators don't install their own equipment. Xtreme Wash Systems does both. We've handled car wash repair and new installations across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa, and we don't sub out our work. The person on the phone is the person who shows up. For Hamel-area operators, that matters when equipment goes down and every idle hour costs revenue. Building a new facility near Hamel means navigating local permitting. A carwash construction request appeared on a Hamel council agenda as far back as 1978, so this isn't new ground for the city, but permit requirements are real. We've built enough facilities in the region to know what that process looks like.

At 13.7 grains per gallon, Hamel's water is classified as very hard. That's not a minor inconvenience. Hard water leaves calcium deposits on paint, glass, and trim when it doesn't rinse clean. A well-maintained wash system with the right chemistry handles it. A poorly maintained one makes it worse. We've operated washes long enough to know what happens when the equipment or the chemical balance isn't right for local water conditions. It's one reason Hamel drivers who care about their paint should be particular about where they wash, and why operators in the area need equipment that's actually dialed in. Our wash chemicals are chosen with regional water conditions in mind.
